DISAPPOINTMENT IN COMCAST
Tonight is the Nextel Cup Awards ceremony well I was
excited only reason being to be able to see Tony Stewart
in a tux, I could care less about seeing Jimmie Johnson, well to my
surprise Comcast in Chattanooga does not carry the channel it is being
shown on ,ESPN Classic . Of course I am not sure why it is being shown on
that channel . I am greatly disappointed in Comcast and somewhat with
NASCAR for broadcasting the end of the year big show on a channel that is
not shown where I am . Ok now I understand that I am not the only fan
of NASCAR but personally I think it should be shown on either
ESPN,ESPN 2 or SPEED . at least a channel that actually broadcast
a race during the season . Ok now I feel somewhat better since I have
vented so now I think I will get off my soapbox and make a phone call
to the cable and try and figure out just how I can see Tony looking
so good in his tux. Thanks for listening....

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IDEAS
I have some folks at my work that has been asking about
electronic gadget that they can get for their family members for
Christmas .. I have suggested IPODS, digital cameras, and to
really impress their family we (the other people at my work too) told
them they should get a laptop computer . They seemed to really like
that idea but when asked what brand they should look at the only one
I would ever buy from now on is a
dell coupons I also told them that there is a place where you
can order online , no standing in a long line in the cold, receive coupons
and discounts , and the ease of ordering 24 hours a day 7 days a
week . Then I thought about getting myself on of those great new
HDTV . I think that would be great for my new living room since
that is one of the newer gadgets to come out and in the next couple years
you will have to one to be able to receive Cable TV.So now that you have
a few ideas for your love ones on Christmas sit back relax and enjoy the
comfort from home while you point and click and finsh up your list .

NEWS UPDATE
I am happy to say I live in East Ridge. Especially now that we are going to
get a new water park some time after the new year starts. They are looking
to have it completed by May 08. I hope to be able to get there several times
a year even if nothing else to float around in their lazy river, one of
my favorite things to do . And it is so close to my house only less than
a mile . Hopefullythey will offer some greats discounts for the residents
of East Ridge. May aunt has a pool at her house but it just seems like
a trouble to make myself get there but I hope being that Splash Valley
( suppose to be the name)is so close and it will cost to go I will be there
on a regular basis . So I just want to say WAY TO GO ! to the city
council in East Ridge, Tn.

GREAT HOBBY
Now with the Christmas season very near I will get to enjoy one of my
favorite hobbies , photography . I just received a new digital camera
as an early present . I wanted to replace my first camera with a new
compact one that has a higher megapixel . So I choose to get a Kodak
Easy Share MD853 it goes with the photo printer I already have so I will be
getting lots of photos of my family this holiday season.
Not only do I love my digital camera , but I also have a 35 MM. I know
you are thinking those are so outdated but I am so in love with the close
up shots I am able to get . Yes it is not as handy as the digital one which
I am carrying with me all the time.
Maybe if I was to hit the lottery I would choose to get a really nice
digital camera like a Canon or Minolta .
Wish I had this new camera when I was getting my house remodeled because
I think I missed alot of great shots of all the work that was done. But now I
have so if you see me out don't be surprised if you hear a click or see a flash ,
don't worry it will only be me and my camera .

NEW START UPDATE
Well as the old saying goes I was a day late and a dollar short . The
new guy that I was introduced to was also set up by a friend at his work.
Oh well that is how my life has been going lately down the drain so to
speak. But who knows maybe he won't get along with the other person
and give me a chance . He really did appear to be a nice guy but a little
on the shy side and very old fashioned . Not something I am used to
for sure . But I have not given up hope and will as the other old
saying goes get back on the horse and try again. So wish me lots of
luck and if it happens it does and if not oh well I am ok with that too.
Now I will get off my soapbox and get ready for the day to start and
get ready to go to the wonderful place known as work.

NEW EXPERIENCE
As a new to the blogging world person I have been looking for a
new adventure , so to speak, something that teaches me all sorts of
interesting things. Also gives me a chance to broaden my horizons and
learn about many different offers and new products . After reading several
other blogs I disccovered a website that offer just that payperpost". I have
noticed there are lots of exciting offers, discounts and great ops to
learn about new products . Not only do you learn about new things
but you get to have the chance to extra extra money to be used for
shopping when you get a case of the blahs... Or use the extra money
to pay some bills off , that I aquired from all of my house remodeling
and also since I live out on my own , who doesn't need the extra dough
So after seeing all the great offers I decided to sign up for this
great opportunity. I am not just in it for the chance to extra money
but also to exercise my freedom to voice my opinion be it good or
bad. And hopefully improve my writing skills along with making tons
of new friends.

BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE CHRISTMAS
Well now that Thanksgiving has come and gone it is time to look forward to
Christmas ( my favorite time of the year) . After I got up on Friday and
hit the store almost wide open I came home and start to decorate for
Christmas . This is the first Christmas in my new house , I am so
excited to be able to decorate everything myself with the help of my
son . We put up our new tree and I created a wreath for the door. Then
we also put up some lights outside maybe this week I will be able to take
a picture and post for you guys . I must say Black Friday was quite an
experience this year for me usually it lots of fun but for some reason this
year just didn't seem the same . Not sure if it was just I was not in mood or
if the store just didn't offer the deals as I have gotten in the past . But either
way me and mom had a good time and managed to get lots of things done.
My favorite deal was at Target - I got a new camera as an early Christmas
gift to me ...Anyway I hope if any of you guys ventured out on Black Friday
you had lots of fun and found lots of great deals. Let me know where you
got the bargains ..Hope you enjoy my pictues .

THANKSGIVING THOUGHT
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches I turn my thoughts away from
shopping and Christmas fun to think about something that is alot more
important . The troops that are over seas fighting for us here in America.
I am very thankful to say that I am an american and for our freedom. My
heart goes out to the troops who have given their lives for us to have what
we have in America. This week my son's school made up shoes boxes
to be sent to the troops in Iraq and that really made me think about all we
have while all the men and women are away from their families and
loved ones fighting for others freedoms. I was so glad to have the chance
to share something from home with the troops we made up 4 boxes ( my
mom and myself) and then contributed to the 2 his classroom made , I hope
the boxes make it to the troops and it let them know that we miss them and
hope they come home safe and sound soon. So while you are craving your
turkey or slicing your pies just remember to think about the troops and
send up a prayer of thanks and safety for them ...

NEW START
Well tonight is was a very strange night . Let me start by going back a few
days , I received a phone call from an old friend of mine and she wanted to
meet me for lunch but considering I had so much going on I had to take
a rain check . Well she finally told me the real reason behind why she
wanted to meet me for lunch she had someone she wanted to
introduce me to . Well tonight her and the guy came to the bowling alley for
him to meet me . I have to say he seemed very nice and he is a big Nascar
fan which in my book is a big plus. So we talked for a while and exchanged
numbers and he even called me tonight just to say Hi and thanks for meeting
him tonight . And even suggested that we meet again for dinner . This is a
total shock for me . I honestly am not sure if I want a serious man in my
life but I do think that having someone to hang out with and go have
dinner with would be a good thing. Who knows this might actually turn
out to be a good thing, guess just have to wait and see if anything becomes
of this new adventure . I will keep you posted on if anything happens.

ALMOST DONE
Well tonight was one more thing to mark off my list . The safety banquet for
my work was held tonight at the Chattanoogan hotel in downtown
Chattanooga. This was the first time I have been to that hotel and I must
say I was greatly impressed . Everyone there was very polite, nice and
helpful in the past we have held the banquets at the Choo-Choo and the
Read House but I was not impressed with those places the service
was not that great and the food was not impressive either . But tonight
everyhting was wonderful , so I highly recommend the Chattanoogan
for any event you have coming up in the near future .
Anyway back to the banquet we had a great turnout , good food, and
great company. We didn't dress up for the drivers as we have done in
the past but we actually had a prize wheel which held all the door prizes
and the drivers had to spin the big wheel to win a prize .
All in all it turned out great but honestly I have to admit I am so glad
it is FINALLY over ...This has been a lot of work . But I guess as long
as everyone had a great time it was worth it .
Now the only thing left for the month is SHOPPING and EATING way to much
turkey .....

HALF OVER
Well I have made thru 2 of my events for the month . The carnival
has come and gone and I survived . Then today was my 31 party
and it has also come and went , of course it was not the success
that I had wished for . There were several folks that didn't make it
due to different reasons. But I am still hoping that those that missed
will still like to order some things. Even though I woke up not feeling
all that great today I managed to make 2 different types of Quiche,
a strawberry cheesecake , along with a salad . We had plenty of food
along with alot of leftovers .
Now if I can get over the heffalumps ( my son's new name for the
snuffles) I will be ready for this coming weekend and the banquet
for the drivers at work .That should be a fun time. And after that
comes Turkey Day and Black Friday ( my favorite time of year) I
am one that just loves to get up at the crack of dawn and fight
the crowds for a bargain. I have found a website the show the ads

MOODS
Has anyone been in a strange type of mood lately? I was wondering if
I am the only one that seems to be depressed-having a case of the
BLAHS! I am not sure if it is the weather changing or a side effect of
the new medicine the doctor has put me on but today was extra bad
I didn't want to leave the house ..You know one of those days when you
just want to put on your old comfy sweats and cover up on the couch and
hide from the world or spend the whole day in bed . Well today was just
that kind of day for me . Ususally I am a happy go lucky type of person
and they tell me at work I am a bubbly type of person but not today
I must have had every driver ask me what was wrong with me today .
And the only answer I could them was I was just having a really bad
day and didn't want to be at work .So if anyone has some really funny
jokes please send them my way cause I could use some happy things
today and really good laughs .....
But the worst part of this whole thing is I am hosting a party at my house
on Sunday , so I need to get my spirits back up and get in a festive
mood. I have cleaning and cooking to be done ....Wish me lots of luck and
hope my party is a success.....

TO BUSY TO THINK
This month is going to be so busy for me , I am sure by the end of
November I will not know if I am coming or going. I have plans
every single weekend this month.It all starts on Saturday. I am going
to be helping out at my son's school for the Fall Carnival
( working the duck pond) . Then the next weekend I will be hosting
a Thirty-one party. Which
I am really excited about cause I think they have great products
and am in love with all of them . More about that to follow. Then there
will be a safety banquet for the drivers at my work that I have to
attend. It will be held at the Chattanoogan here is Chattanooga. It will
be a Christmas \Safety banquet where the drivers are honored for
being safe all year . They receive awards and also there are several
door prizes and a visit from Santa for all the kids big and small. Then
to make it a little more interesting me and the other 2 folks in the
office dress up each year and attempt to put on some sort of show.
Usually we dress according to a christmas theme ( Elves, Santa
helpers, one year we even did How the Grinch stole Christmas) but
this year we have a idea of being Cheerleader. I will for sure let
you know how that goes and try to post a picture of us . Then
it will be time to get ready for Thanksgiving and then the Christmas
shopping season will begin. Now after I have shared all of this info
with you guys I need to go and take a nap, I am so tired just thinking
about all the things to come that I have to do . Well wish
